Once you have harvested your edamame plant, refrigerate, freeze, cook or blanch the pods as soon as possible after picking to preserve flavor and nutrients. to serve edamame immediately, boil freshly picked pods in salted water for about 10 minutes.. I am using pails in a hydroponic system. i used to average about 1.5 lbs (680 g) per cycle in this area. so, with my 1800 watts i was getting 680 grams, which worked out to about .38 grams per watt.. This is my greenhouse grow of dragon's tongue beans and the first harvest as well. so, this is my most successful attempt at hydroponic beans growing in the greenhouse and i'm super pleased with.
